The XY6550S is a high-current constant-voltage/constant-current DC buck converter for building adjustable bench supplies, battery-charging systems and controlled DC loads. It reduces a higher DC input to the required output; it is not a boost converter or a finished mains-powered power supply.

Installation and Safety Notes

  • Use a suitably rated isolated DC source, wiring, terminals, fuse and enclosure. Ensure the input voltage is above the required output voltage.
  • For battery charging, set the correct cell-specific CV/CC limits with output off, verify polarity, then enable output only after the setup has been checked.
  • Listed protections include reverse-polarity, reverse-current, under/over-voltage, over-current, over-power and temperature protection. They do not replace correct system design and ventilation.
  • RS-485, serial TTL and optional Wi-Fi, infrared or 433 controls require the corresponding selected accessory and correct connector pinout.
