Wi-Fi Soil Temperature and Moisture Sensor for Tuya Smart / Smart Life

This compact probe measures soil moisture and temperature, then sends readings to a compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for viewing in the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. It is intended for plant pots, garden beds, greenhouse monitoring and simple irrigation automations.

Monitoring functions

• Measures soil moisture on a listed 0-100% range.
• Measures temperature on a listed -20 to 60 degrees C range.
• Wi-Fi connection for app-based readings and history, subject to the selected network and app setup.
• Tuya Smart / Smart Life app compatibility, with support for automation scenes and shared device access where supported by the app account and connected devices.
• Button on the sensor for Celsius/Fahrenheit unit selection.

Network and app setup

• Connect the sensor to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. It will not pair directly with a 5 GHz-only Wi-Fi network.
• Add the sensor through Tuya Smart or Smart Life, then verify live temperature and moisture readings before creating automations.
• For irrigation control, use the sensor as a trigger with a separately compatible Tuya device such as a smart plug, valve controller or pump controller. Those devices are not included.
• Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration depends on the region, app account and the linked smart-home service.

Use notes

• Insert the probe into representative soil near the plant root zone. Avoid rocks, fertilizer pellets and direct contact with irrigation emitters when choosing the measurement location.
• Use the reading as a practical irrigation reference. This sensor does not measure pH, EC, NPK or professional agronomic nutrient values.
• Allow the sensor to stabilize after installation or watering before relying on a reading for an automation rule.
• The product is battery-powered; batteries are not included. Confirm the required battery type from the product label and selected hardware before installation.

Select the pack quantity

Choose 1, 2, 4 or 8 Wi-Fi sensors according to the number of pots, beds or monitoring zones required. Each sensor must be added to the app and connected to the intended Wi-Fi network during setup.
