The TOOLTOP ET693C combines a 256 × 192 infrared detector with a 1080P visible-light camera for inspection, maintenance and fault-finding. Thermal, visible, picture-in-picture and fusion views help relate temperature patterns to the physical equipment being examined.

Typical applications
Suitable tasks include checking electrical panels and terminals, locating overheated components, comparing bearings and motors, observing heating systems, inspecting insulation and tracing temperature distribution across equipment. A thermal image indicates surface temperature patterns and should be combined with normal electrical or mechanical diagnostic procedures.

Measurement notes
Shiny bare metal, glass and other low-emissivity surfaces can produce misleading readings because they reflect surrounding thermal energy. Adjust emissivity where the surface value is known, or use a suitable high-emissivity reference patch. Keep the lens clean, allow the camera to acclimatise after large temperature changes and never look directly into the Class 2 laser.
