Sipeed NanoKVM Lite and Full IP-KVM

NanoKVM is a compact standalone IP-KVM based on Sipeed LicheeRV Nano, not a Raspberry Pi board. It captures a host computer's HDMI output and presents USB HID control to the host, so remote access can work independently of the host operating system or network configuration.

Core Functions

  • Host video capture: HDMI input; official documentation lists up to 1080p at 60fps.
  • Host control: USB 2.0 connection emulates keyboard, mouse and touchpad HID functions.
  • Virtual media: available microSD storage can be presented to the host as a USB mass-storage device for remote installation media.
  • Network: 100Mbps Ethernet for video and control traffic.
  • Platform: LicheeRV Nano RISC-V computing module.

Choose Lite or Full

  • KVM Lite: basic configuration for builders and volume deployment. The official documentation describes it as the Lite core hardware without the Full enclosure and accessory set.
  • KVM Full White / KVM Full Black: complete version with enclosure, ready-to-use system card and accessories. It adds an OLED status display and remote ATX power-control hardware.

White and Black describe the Full-version enclosure color. Select the exact option needed for the intended host-management setup.

Typical Use

  • Remote server, NAS and lab-computer management, including UEFI/BIOS access.
  • Remote operating-system installation through virtual USB media.
  • Out-of-band recovery when the host OS or its local network service is unavailable.
  • Full-version ATX power-state monitoring and remote power or reset integration.

Setup Notes

  • Connect the target host's HDMI output to NanoKVM, then connect USB to the host for HID and virtual-media functions.
  • Use wired Ethernet for initial setup. WiFi, PoE and ATX accessories are option- and version-dependent; check the selected Full package and its product images before ordering.
  • Use suitable 5V power according to the chosen configuration and connected accessories. Confirm host compatibility and network policy before deploying to production equipment.
  • NanoKVM is an IP-KVM appliance. It does not include a Raspberry Pi and should not be treated as a Raspberry Pi add-on board.

Package Scope

Lite and Full packages do not have the same enclosure, storage-card or accessory scope. Refer to the selected option and its images before checkout; target-host cables, network equipment and any required ATX wiring are selected separately for the installation.
