TENGMA TJ-56-254 Magnetic Levitation DIY Soldering Kit

This through-hole DIY kit demonstrates closed-loop magnetic levitation with a suspended magnetic object. It is intended for hands-on soldering practice, classroom demonstration and electronics experimentation rather than as a precision measuring instrument or a general-purpose lifting device.

Verified Configuration

  • Model: TJ-56-254
  • Required operating supply: DC 12V, 2A
  • Listed power consumption: 2-5W
  • PCB size: 85 x 85mm
  • Suspension distance: listed as no more than 2cm; final height depends on adjustment and the selected floating object.
  • Working principle: coils, Hall-sensor feedback and a driver circuit continuously adjust magnetic force to hold the object near its balance point.

Choose the Correct Option

  • Bear 50g with shell: 50g load version with acrylic enclosure parts.
  • Bear 150g with shell: 150g load version with acrylic enclosure parts.
  • Bear 50g no shell / Bear 150g no shell: corresponding load version without the acrylic enclosure parts.

The 50g and 150g values refer to the selected kit version. They are maximum listed suspension loads under suitable adjustment, not a guarantee for every magnetic object or use condition.

Assembly and First Power-Up

  1. Sort the components and use the PCB markings to identify the installation positions. Observe polarity for diodes, electrolytic capacitors, LEDs and semiconductors.
  2. Solder and inspect the two boards before mounting the coils, magnetic parts, standoffs and optional acrylic enclosure.
  3. Check carefully for bridges or incorrect component orientation, then connect a regulated DC 12V, 2A supply to the board input.
  4. Use the on-board adjustment controls to find the balance point. Bring the supplied floating magnet or selected magnetic object into position gradually and release it only after the upward force is stable.

Use Notes

  • This is a soldering kit. A soldering iron, solder and DC power supply may be needed separately unless they are explicitly included in the selected option.
  • Keep the coil area clear of loose magnetic objects and use only with the specified low-voltage DC input.
  • The operating point is sensitive to object weight, magnet position and adjustment. Start with short trials and allow the circuit to cool between repeated setup attempts.
  • The acrylic enclosure is an option-dependent protective display housing; select a with shell option when it is required.

Package Scope

Package contents vary with the selected 50g or 150g version and with or without the acrylic shell option. Refer to the option name and component images for the configuration before ordering.
