8 x 18650 USB-C DIY Power Bank Enclosure

This detachable enclosure builds a USB power bank around eight flat-top 18650 cells. It is supplied as a battery case only; cells are not included.

Choose the Correct Version

• Normal: maximum 10 W, 5 V / 2 A USB-A output with Type-C input.
• PD: listed maximum 22.5 W with USB-A and Type-C fast-charge outputs.
• PD QI: listed PD maximum 22.5 W plus wireless charging through 5 W, 7.5 W, 10 W or 15 W modes.
• PD QI versions require activation after cell installation by connecting a data cable if the display initially shows 0.

Connections and Dimensions

• Two USB-A ports and one Type-C port.
• PD input: 5 V / 3 A, 9 V / 2 A or 12 V / 1.5 A, as listed.
• PD outputs include 5 V / 3 A, 9 V / 2 A, 12 V / 1.5 A and 10 V / 2.25 A modes, depending on port and negotiated device protocol.
• Listed size: 183 x 80 x 28 mm.
• Screw-fixed, detachable construction without soldering.

Battery Safety

• Use eight matching, undamaged flat-top 18650 cells with the same chemistry, capacity and state of charge.
• Do not mix old and new cells, different capacities or damaged cells.
• Observe polarity markings carefully; incorrect installation can cause overheating, fire or equipment damage.
• Do not use, charge or store the enclosure in high-temperature or wet conditions.
• Battery cells, retail packaging and external charging cable are not included unless explicitly stated.
