The ANENG MH16 is a battery-powered insulation resistance tester for checking insulation resistance on de-energized electrical equipment. It also provides AC and DC voltage measurement for routine electrical test work.
Insulation test functions
- Selectable test voltages: 500 V, 1000 V and 2500 V
- Insulation resistance range: 1 Mohm to 50 Gohm
- Automatic discharge after an insulation test
- Data hold, backlight and low-battery indication
Voltage measurement
- AC voltage range: 0-700 V
- DC voltage range: 0-1000 V
Power and operation
- Powered by six AA batteries; this product option is supplied without batteries
- Supports external 12 V DC power input of at least 600 mA
- Automatic shutdown after approximately 15 minutes without operation
Safety: insulation testing uses high voltage. Isolate and verify the circuit is de-energized before testing, use suitable PPE, and follow the supplied instrument manual.
