ODrive V3.6 Dual-Axis FOC BLDC Servo Motor Controller Board

A third-party ODrive V3.6-compatible controller for evaluating dual-axis brushless motor and servo-control projects. The board is based on the STM32F405 platform and provides two three-phase motor outputs with encoder and communications interfaces.

  • The supplied product images identify this board as a 12-56 V version. Verify the actual board marking and component ratings before selecting a power supply.
  • This is not presented as an official current-generation ODrive Robotics product. Do not assume official current, thermal or firmware limits apply unchanged to third-party hardware.
  • ODrive V3.6 is a legacy platform. Official documentation lists two axes and supports USB, CAN, UART, analog, PWM and step/direction control, but recommends newer ODrive hardware for new designs.
  • Motor current, cooling, brake resistance and supply protection must be engineered for the specific motor and mechanical load.

Before Power-Up

  • Confirm motor phase wiring, encoder voltage and pinout, DC bus polarity and brake-resistor configuration.
  • Use current-limited commissioning where possible and secure the board in a ventilated enclosure.
  • Match firmware and configuration tools to V3.6-compatible hardware; newer ODrive GUI and firmware features may not support this legacy board.
