50kHz-500MHz Active Magnetic Loop Antenna Amplifier for SDR Receivers

This wideband active magnetic loop antenna kit is designed for receive-only radio and SDR applications from 50kHz to 500MHz. It combines a compact loop assembly, active amplifier, switchable configuration board, feeder cables, mounting hooks, and a storage case for bench, indoor, or portable receiving setups.

Key Features

  • Wide receive range: 50kHz-500MHz for compatible HF, AM, FM, VHF, UHF, and SDR receiving equipment.
  • Active front end: Listed gain of 17dB at 10MHz for improving received signal level.
  • Configurable loop: The amplifier and jumper boards provide switch-selectable loop configurations for different receiving environments.
  • Compact installation: Supplied loop sections, feeder cables, adhesive hooks, and carrying case support fixed or portable setups.
  • Receive-only design: Intended for signal reception and spectrum monitoring, not RF transmission.

Loop Configuration

The switchable boards allow the loop assembly to be configured for different receiving conditions. The available arrangements include active loop configurations intended to reduce electric-field interference and improve magnetic-field reception. Set the switches only with the power disconnected, and verify the desired arrangement before reconnecting the receiver.

Package Contents

  • 1 x active loop antenna amplifier module
  • 1 x switchable jumper/configuration board
  • 2 x RG402 loop sections
  • 1 x 7m feeder cable
  • 1 x 1m feeder cable
  • 1 x 3.5mm-to-SMA adapter cable
  • 2 x adhesive mounting hooks
  • 1 x EVA storage case

Setup and Selection Notes

  • A power supply is not listed in the package contents. Use a stable, low-noise 9-12V DC supply that can provide at least 150mA.
  • Confirm connector type, polarity, receiver compatibility, and switch settings before applying power.
  • Position the loop away from switching power supplies, displays, computers, and other local noise sources.
  • Rotate or reposition the loop to improve the desired signal and reduce local interference.
  • Do not connect this receive-only antenna system to a transmitter.
