Der DP-666 ist ein Radio, das auf dem Open-Source-Projekt TEF6686_ESP32 von PE5PVB basiert. Neben dem Radioempfang unterstützt das Projekt auch eine Fülle von erweiterten Funktionen, wie z.B.: Anzeige fast aller RDS (Radio Data System)-Daten, automatische\/manuelle Sendersuche, Rauschsperre, Batteriestatusanzeige, wechselbare Themen, Mehrsprachigkeit, Senderspeicher und vieles mehr. Wir haben die Leiterplatte unter Bezugnahme auf die ausgereifte TEF6686-Frontend-Empfangsschaltung neu entwickelt und den DP-666 mit einem 2,8-Zoll-LCD-Farbdisplay mit resistivem Touch auf Basis des Open-Source-Projekts ausgestattet. Während die Tragbarkeit des Geräts gewährleistet ist, kann es umfassende RDS-Informationen anzeigen (RDS-Informationen erfordern lokale Radio-Unterstützung); eine Zehnertastatur wurde hinzugefügt, um Benutzern die schnelle Eingabe von Frequenzen zu erleichtern; und ein 5000-mAh-Akku mit hoher Kapazität unterstützt eine längere Standby-Zeit.
